Abstract. The article actualizes a necessity for teachers to carry out the monitoring studies of specialized classes pupils’ achievements. The main aspects of the content of informatics teachers’ training (on the basis of Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University) for the organization and realization of monitoring research during the study of the discipline "Educational Dimensions" are considered. The content of the course is revealed and the list of the issues, on which one should focus while training "Informatics" specialty students during their preparation for the implementation of monitoring activity, is represented.
