Abstract. The article discusses the issues related to the choice of the parameters of the support contour of radial-guy two-layer coating systems, as well as to the influence of the character of coating loading with temporary load on the strained deformed state of the system. The conclusion about the rationality of the support ring cross-sections, developed in horizontal direction, is expressed. The values of the central angles of the loading sector of coating temporary load are determined for the calculated efforts and deflections definition.
