TRADITIONAL PEDAGOGY VALUES IN MODERN INDIA EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the alternative Indian schools that base their activity upon traditional pedagogy values. The author examines cultural-historical reasons for India refusal from its pedagogical heritage in favor of the western English-language education model in the XIX century and analyzes educators-innovators’ experience aimed at the revival of national school system adapted to modern conditions.
