Abstract. The article is devoted to the identification and analysis of the main tendencies and directions of Russia financial system transformation. The importance of involving non-governmental pension funds into the general process of investing within the framework of the country entire economic system functioning is revealed. A number of the recommendations that will contribute to the further development of Russia financial system are presented.
