Abstract. The article is devoted to the essence of the contract on paid medical services rendering. The analysis of the contract essence is conducted. Suggestions for improving the norms of The Rules of Paid Medical Services Rendering by Medical Organizations, adopted by the Russian Federation Government Decree № 1006 from 04.10.2012, are made.
