POLYETHNIC ASPECT OF PRIMARY SCHOOLCHILDREN’S ETHNOMUSICAL EDUCATION (BY EXAMPLE OF VOLYN' TRADITIONS)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the traditions development of the polyethnic musical education of primary schoolchildren by the example of the Ukrainian Volyn' polyethnic region. The ethnomusical is introduced accordingly as the polyethnic and the polycultural. Interethnic tolerance is considered to be an indicator of children’s civility. The model of polyethnic musical education and the methodology of work with primary schoolchildren on mastering musical traditions, which presupposes children’s immersion into the folklore intonation atmosphere of definite ethnic culture on conditions that it is compared with the intonation peculiarities of the Ukrainian folklore and the folklore of other ethnic groups, are suggested.
