RAFFAELLO SANZIO’S IMAGE AND PAINTING HERITAGE INFLUENCE ON M. YU. LERMONTOV’S ARTISTIC WORLD FORMATION

Abstract. The article is devoted to one of the most expressive lines of literature and painting interaction – the importance of Raffaello Sanzio’s personality and paintings for the understanding of creative inspiration nature and the peculiarities of his figurative system by Lermontov. The author pays special attention to Lermontov’s poetic techniques analysis formed under the influence of Raffaello Sanzio’s expressionist facture. It is stated that the visually expressed spiritual and moral ideals of the High Renaissance perform axiological and gnosiological functions when creating female images in the poet’s artistic world.
