Abstract. In the article the tasks and peculiarities of undergraduates’ training for getting degree in "Instrument Engineering" and the organization problems of training students in the field of medicine instrument engineering are considered. The methodology of research work organization and practice is suggested that allows forming general cultural and professional competences. The conduct forms and content of research work, and educational technologies are shown, progress criteria are revealed.
