BLOCK STRUCTURE OF RELAY PROTECTION AND AUTOMATICS DEVICES

Abstract. The approach to constructing the multifunctional protection of electrical equipment on the basis of block structure is developed. It is based on the separation of active current bus bar combined with operation circuits and command bus bar simultaneously performing the functions of circuit controlling executive device. Block protection architecture allows eliminating redundant modules, reducing costs, unifying modules, simplifying operation, improving relay protection devices repairability, it is open and allows expanding the protection volume of electrical equipment and circuits.
