SOME PHONETIC PECULIARITIES OF NIZHNEKOLYMSK EVENS’ DIALECT

Abstract. The consonant system peculiarities of the Even language Nizhnekolymsk dialect in comparison with the Evens’ literary language are considered. Nizhnekolymsk Evens’ language differs much from eastern dialects and the Even literary language in its words consonantism peculiarities. It’s also necessary to point out that the dialect phonetic peculiarities have parallels with other Yakutia Evens’ dialects. The article is based on the material of field expeditions to Cherskii and Kolymskoe settlements of Nizhnekolymsk region of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (2013).
